2. Transactions & payment privacy
- When you pay through the Ekatraa apps or related flows, payments are processed by regulated payment partners / gateways. Card network rules and applicable law govern how those partners handle card and banking data.
- We do not ask you to share full card numbers or CVV by ordinary email or chat. Only use payment screens inside the official app or trusted links we provide.
- We may process limited payment-related records (such as transaction identifiers, amounts, status, and timestamps) to operate the platform, prevent fraud disputes, and meet legal, tax, and audit obligations. See our privacy documentation for your app (for example, the in-app privacy policy and, for vendors, our Vendor Privacy Policy for more detail on categories of data and retention.
- If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, contact care@ekatraa.in with the date, amount, and any reference shown on your receipt or bank SMS so we can help route it appropriately.
3. Cancellations, changes & refunds
Event services often depend on contracts between you and independent vendors. Ekatraa provides tools to coordinate bookings and payments; specific cancellation and refund rules may depend on the service, vendor terms, and the stage of the order.
- For help cancelling or changing a booking, or to ask about refunds, email care@ekatraa.in from the address on your account when possible, and include your registered mobile number and order or booking reference if you have one.
- Where a refund is due under applicable terms, processing times can depend on banks and payment networks after we or our payment partners approve it.
4. Account & profile deletion
You may request closure of your account and deletion of personal data associated with your profile, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs (for example, records we must keep for tax, fraud prevention, or unresolved disputes).
- Send email to grievance@ekatraa.in with subject line: Account deletion request — Ekatraa app.
- In the body, include the mobile number used on your account and, if applicable, the email address on file. This helps us verify ownership and avoid deleting the wrong profile.
- We will confirm receipt and explain next steps or any information still needed. If verification succeeds, we will proceed with deletion or anonymization where permitted and communicate the outcome within a reasonable period.
Vendors (Ekatraa Vendor App): you may also use the self-service form to erase the vendor business profile tied to your registered mobile number: Vendor account deletion. For anything the form cannot complete, use the same grievance email below. See also the Vendor Privacy Policy (Section 10).
5. Other policies
